Advocate
Dr Patrick Farrugia
After having taken part in internship experiences in the corporate law field, Patrick joined Roselyn in her firm towards the end of his University years, and has now gained abundant experience practicing mainly in the field of employment law. He has developed a keen interest in the subject, and mainly deals with Industrial Tribunal cases and other related employment law matters, advising both employers and employees and assisting in the drafting of contracts, policies and Tribunal proceedings. Patrick also currently practices with Ten Yards Legal's sister firm, The Family Law Practice, where he deals with family law related matters such as separations, divorces and the like.
Patrick is also keen on organising and providing training on employment-related subjects, and regularly works with Roselyn to create and organise tailor-made training sessions and courses for clients, which can range from basic overview sessions to training on specific topics. He is passionate about meeting trainees, involving them in his deliberations, and providing them with practical tips through his training.
When not drafting contracts and policies or fighting out a case, Patrick enjoys kicking back with a good history book, or otherwise embarking on long hikes and travelling to wherever an airline can carry him, whenever the opportunity comes along.
